Description

A flavorful hibachi-inspired bowl featuring succulent steak, fresh shrimp, vibrant vegetables, and delicious fried rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers and carrots)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove steak and shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add sesame oil and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  6. Add mixed vegetables and cook until tender.
  7. Stir in the cooked rice and soy sauce, mixing well.
  8. Return steak and shrimp to the skillet, combine everything, and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the skillet for even cooking. Experiment with different vegetables to suit your preference.
