Ingredients
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Combine the chicken, orzo, and chicken broth in the pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the orzo is tender.
- Stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
