Ingredients

  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 packet beef broth seasoning (10 g)
  • 3 pounds chuck roast, cut into 1 to 1 1/2-inch cubes (1.4 kg)
  • 1 Tablespoon steak seasoning (15 ml)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (60 ml)
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
  • 3/4 cup beef broth (180 ml)
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (30 g)


Instructions

  1. Layer the sliced onion at the base of a slow cooker and dust it with the beef broth seasoning.
  2. Coat the beef cubes with steak seasoning and arrange them over the onions. Add the minced garlic and drizzle the broth around the sides.
  3. Seal the slow cooker and let it cook on Low for approximately 6 hours until the beef becomes tender.
  4. Mix in the chopped parsley just before dishing out.
