Ingredients
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 packet beef broth seasoning (10 g)
- 3 pounds chuck roast, cut into 1 to 1 1/2-inch cubes (1.4 kg)
- 1 Tablespoon steak seasoning (15 ml)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (60 ml)
- 8 cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
- 3/4 cup beef broth (180 ml)
- 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (30 g)
Instructions
- Layer the sliced onion at the base of a slow cooker and dust it with the beef broth seasoning.
- Coat the beef cubes with steak seasoning and arrange them over the onions. Add the minced garlic and drizzle the broth around the sides.
- Seal the slow cooker and let it cook on Low for approximately 6 hours until the beef becomes tender.
- Mix in the chopped parsley just before dishing out.
