Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken Wings
- Yellow Mustard for binder
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1.5 tbsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
- ½ tbsp Onion Powder
- ½ tbsp Granulated Garlic
- ½ tbsp Gochukaru Flakes
- 2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1.5 tsp Cayenne Powder
- 2.5 tbsp Chili Oil
- 2.5 tbsp Honey
- 1.5 tbsp Minced Garlic
- ¾ tsp Sesame Seeds
- Sliced Scallions for garnish
- 1 qt Frying Oil
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken wings by coating them with yellow mustard and seasoning with brown sugar, kosher salt, smoked paprika, onion powder, granulated garlic, gochukaru flakes, ground cumin, black pepper, and cayenne powder. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat frying oil in a deep pan or fryer. Once hot, carefully add the chicken wings and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes.
- While the wings fry, prepare the honey chili glaze by mixing chili oil, honey, minced garlic, and sesame seeds in a bowl.
- Remove the cooked wings from the oil and toss them in the honey chili glaze until fully coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced scallions.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider double-frying the wings. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
