Ingredients

- – 1/2 cup (120 ml) honey
- – 1/2 cup (120 ml) soy sauce
- – 1/4 cup (60 ml) tomato paste
- – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) sesame oil
- – 4 cloves garlic, minced
- – 3 teaspoons (15 ml) cornstarch
- – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) water
- – 1 pound (454 g) spaghetti noodles, cooked and drained
- – Scallions or sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chopped chicken pieces, diced onion, and sliced red bell pepper into the bowl of a 6-quart slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, blend the honey, soy sauce, tomato paste, sesame oil, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Drizzle the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, then stir to ensure everything is well-coated.
- Secure the lid and set the slow cooker to cook on LOW for 6 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours.
- When the cooking time is complete, mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl until smooth, then add it to the sauce and stir well to thicken.
