  • – 1 1/2 pounds (680 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
  • – 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • – 1/2 cup (120 ml) honey
  • – 1/2 cup (120 ml) soy sauce
  • – 1/4 cup (60 ml) tomato paste
  • – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) sesame oil
  • – 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • – 3 teaspoons (15 ml) cornstarch
  • – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) water
  • – 1 pound (454 g) spaghetti noodles, cooked and drained
  • – Scallions or sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place the chopped chicken pieces, diced onion, and sliced red bell pepper into the bowl of a 6-quart slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, blend the honey, soy sauce, tomato paste, sesame oil, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Drizzle the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, then stir to ensure everything is well-coated.
  4. Secure the lid and set the slow cooker to cook on LOW for 6 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours.
