Description

A simple yet flavorful dish featuring chicken breasts seared and coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey


Instructions

  1. Sear the chicken in a hot skillet until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes on medium-high heat. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  2. In the same skillet, lower the heat and make the honey garlic sauce by combining minced garlic, soy sauce, and honey. Stir occasionally until the mixture begins to bubble.
  3. Return the seared chicken to the pan, coating each piece thoroughly in the honey garlic sauce.
  4. Simmer the chicken in the sauce until it thickens and the chicken is cooked through, approximately another 7-10 minutes.

Notes

For additional flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and honey before cooking, and serve with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables.
