Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Sear the chicken in a hot skillet until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes on medium-high heat. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and make the honey garlic sauce by combining minced garlic, soy sauce, and honey. Stir occasionally until the mixture begins to bubble.
- Return the seared chicken to the pan, coating each piece thoroughly in the honey garlic sauce.
- Simmer the chicken in the sauce until it thickens and the chicken is cooked through, approximately another 7-10 minutes.
Notes
For additional flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and honey before cooking, and serve with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables.
