Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds (680 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts (680 grams)
- 3 large peaches
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey (60 milliliters)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lime juice (60 milliliters)
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s olive oil (30 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chipotle chili powder (15 grams)
- 2 teaspoon (10 ml) s garlic powder (10 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground cumin (5 grams)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 8-10 wooden skewers
Instructions
- Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
- Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes.
- Cut the peaches into wedges, removing the pits.
- In a bowl, mix honey, lime juice, olive oil, chipotle chili powder, garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated.
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken and peach wedges alternately onto the soaked skewers.
- Brush the skewers with the remaining marinade.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes.
- Turn the skewers occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and peaches are charred.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
