Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tablespoon honey (15 ml)
  • Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s or 30 ml)
  • 2 large flatbreads or naan
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (100 g)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (50 g)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (75 g)
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion (30 g)
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (35 g)
  • 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (15 g)
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (60 ml)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  4. Cook chicken in the skillet for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  5. Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips.
  7. In a bowl, mix honey and lime juice until combined.
  8. Toss the sliced chicken in the honey-lime mixture.
  9. Place flatbreads or naan on a baking sheet.
  10. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the flatbreads.
  11. Spread the honey-lime chicken strips evenly over the cheese.
  12. Distribute cherry tomato halves, red onion slices, and black olives on top.
  13. Add jalapeño slices evenly across the flatbreads.
  14. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
