- – 1/4 cup (60 ml) mustard
- – 2 garlic cloves, minced
- – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
- – 1 1/2 teaspoons (7.5 ml) finely chopped fresh rosemary
- – 1 1/2 teaspoons (7.5 ml) finely chopped fresh thyme
- – 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) kosher salt
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Set your oven to 350°F (177°C) to warm it up. Arrange the chicken thighs in a baking dish and ensure they are dry by using a paper towel.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the honey, mustard, minced garlic, vegetable oil, chopped rosemary and thyme, salt, and ground black pepper.
- Generously coat the chicken with the honey mustard blend using a brush or spoon.
- Cook in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes until the chicken is thoroughly done and the internal temperature reaches 175°F (80°C). In the final 2 to 3 minutes, switch on the broiler to make the skin crispy.
Notes
- Marinate chicken thighs in honey mustard mixture for enhanced herb flavor.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over cooked chicken for a hint of acidity.
- Avoid overcrowding baking dish to ensure crispy skin and even cooking.
