A rich and creamy keto-friendly au gratin featuring broccoli and cauliflower, enhanced with smoked sausage for a hearty, flavorful dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 head Cauliflower Florets (use pre-chopped for convenience)
  • 1 head Broccoli Florets (lightly steamed)
  • 12 oz Sliced Smoked Sausage
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 medium Onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the diced onions until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and sliced sausage, cooking until the sausage browns slightly.
  4. In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and heavy whipping cream until smooth.
  5. Fold in the steamed broccoli and cauliflower into the sausage mixture.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the vegetables and stir gently to combine.
  7. Transfer to a greased baking dish, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
