Description

Irresistible and flavorful chicken bites coated in a sweet and tangy honey BBQ marinade, perfectly crispy from the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray for the air fryer basket

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until the marinade is smooth and well-combined.
  2. Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to a few hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for a few minutes.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the marinated chicken pieces in a single layer in the basket.
  5. Air fry the chicken bites for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until cooked through and golden-brown.
  6. Let the chicken bites rest for a few minutes before serving hot.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken overnight. Experiment with spices for different flavors.
