A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken thighs, vibrant jalapenos, and a sweet soy sauce glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1-2 jalapeno peppers, sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey (or sugar)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- In a pan, heat cooking oil over medium heat and add the chicken pieces.
- Add sliced onions and jalapeno peppers, cooking until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Mix soy sauce and honey (or sugar) in a bowl to create a sweet and salty sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve over cooked rice.
Notes
For an air fryer method, place the seasoned chicken and veggies in the air fryer basket and cook at 380°F for about 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
