Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken thighs, vibrant jalapenos, and a sweet soy sauce glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1-2 jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a pan, heat cooking oil over medium heat and add the chicken pieces.
  3. Add sliced onions and jalapeno peppers, cooking until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  4. Mix soy sauce and honey (or sugar) in a bowl to create a sweet and salty sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve over cooked rice.

Notes

For an air fryer method, place the seasoned chicken and veggies in the air fryer basket and cook at 380°F for about 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
