Description
A vibrant and flavorful dish combining tender chicken thighs with spicy jalapeños, soy sauce, and honey, served over rice.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken thighs
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 2 Jalapeño peppers, sliced
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 2 cups Rice, cooked
Instructions
- Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- In a pan, heat oil and sauté the onions until translucent.
- Add the jalapeño peppers and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are browned and fully cooked.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir until evenly coated.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve the Jalapeño Chicken over a bed of rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
Notes
Marinate the chicken prior to cooking for enhanced flavor. Adjust the amount of jalapeño to control spiciness.
