Description

Delicious chicken sliders made with tender rotisserie chicken, zesty mayonnaise, and melted cheese, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls preferred)
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Slice the slider buns horizontally to separate the tops from the bottoms. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Combine the shredded rotisserie chicken with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until the chicken is well-coated.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.
  5. Layer the cheese slices over the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
  7. Whisk together the melted butter, parsley, and optional poppy seeds. Brush this mixture over the tops of the buns.
  8. Cover the dish loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown, and the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy the sliders!

Notes

For added flavor, let the chicken mixture sit for a few minutes before filling the buns.
