Delicious and moist ground chicken burgers, perfect for any backyard barbecue or dinner party.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken breast
- ½ cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (vegan or regular)
- 2 tablespoons minced onions
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the ground chicken, Italian breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, minced onions, parsley, garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix gently using your hands until everything blends just right, avoiding overmixing.
- Divide the mixture into 4-6 equal portions and shape each portion into patties, pressing the center lightly.
- For stovetop preparation, heat a skillet over medium heat, oil it lightly, and cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until done.
- For grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat, oil the grates, and grill the patties for about 10 minutes total, flipping halfway through.
Notes
Let the patties rest for a couple of minutes after cooking to allow juices to redistribute for a moist burger.
