Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
- 8 ounces mushrooms (sliced, button or cremini)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Combine the cooked chicken, sautéed mushrooms, heavy cream, dried thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese bubbles and turns golden brown.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
