Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- 2 scallions, sliced (for garnish)
- 2 cups steamed rice
- 2 cups mixed vegetables
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sugar, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, until cooked through.
- Serve the grilled or baked chicken with steamed rice and mixed vegetables. Garnish with sliced scallions.
Notes
