Description

A quick and flavorful Korean dish featuring chicken marinated in a spicy-sweet gochujang sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken pieces (thighs or breasts)
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade and coat well; allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to 375°F.
  4. Grill or bake the chicken pieces for about 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

Marinating overnight enhances flavor. Consider using firm tofu as a substitute for a vegetarian option.
