Description
A simple yet flavorful marinade that transforms chicken into a tender and juicy masterpiece with the bright notes of lemon and garlic.
Ingredients
- Chicken (breasts or thighs)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced
- A mix of fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, or parsley)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, and your choice of herbs.
- Place the chicken in a resealable bag or bowl and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the chicken is well-coated.
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
- Grill, bake, or freeze the marinated chicken as desired.
Notes
For best results, use fresh herbs. Aim for a minimum of 30 minutes marinating time, but overnight yields more flavor. Adjust marinating time to prevent overly acidic chicken.
