A delicious Lemon Garlic Herb Chicken that delivers a burst of flavor with minimal effort, perfect for weeknight dinners or weekend gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast strips
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken strips to the marinade and coat well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare the grill.
- If baking, place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through. If grilling, cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate the chicken for longer than 30 minutes, if possible. Using fresh herbs instead of dried can elevate the dish.
