Description

A simple yet flavorful dish featuring marinated chicken breasts infused with fresh lemon juice, zest, and black pepper.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons (juice and zest)
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder to create a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or dish, and pour the marinade over the chicken. Make sure the chicken is well coated.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

Allow the chicken to marinate longer than 15 minutes for enhanced flavor. Adjust seasonings based on personal preference.
