Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Rinse and dry the chicken wings thoroughly using paper towels.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
- Toss the wings in the marinade until fully coated and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Arrange the wings on a prepared baking sheet or place them into the air fryer basket.
- Bake for about 40–45 minutes or air fry at 380°F until golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through cooking.
- Once done, remove the wings from heat and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider sprinkling baking powder on the wings before marinating. Adjust cooking time based on wing size for optimal crispiness.
