Description

Deliciously crispy lemon pepper wings, perfect for any gathering, combining zesty lemon and spicy black pepper for an irresistible flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt, to taste


Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the chicken wings thoroughly using paper towels.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  3. Toss the wings in the marinade until fully coated and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Arrange the wings on a prepared baking sheet or place them into the air fryer basket.
  5. Bake for about 40–45 minutes or air fry at 380°F until golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through cooking.
  6. Once done, remove the wings from heat and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider sprinkling baking powder on the wings before marinating. Adjust cooking time based on wing size for optimal crispiness.
