Description

Refreshing and crunchy appetizer featuring iceberg lettuce, crispy turkey bacon, grape tomatoes, and creamy blue cheese dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 5-6 slices turkey bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
  • Skewers, cut to 4 inches in length
  • 1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/3 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup light sour cream
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. cider vinegar
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the crumbled blue cheese, light mayonnaise, light sour cream, minced garlic, cider vinegar, and ground black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Cut the iceberg lettuce into wedges, ensuring each wedge is sturdy enough to hold toppings.
  3. Assemble the lettuce wedge bites by placing a wedge on a plate and topping with halved grape tomatoes and crumbled turkey bacon.
  4. Drizzle blue cheese dressing over the toppings, using skewers for added stability and presentation.
  5. Serve immediately for a refreshing appetizer.

Notes

For the crispiest bacon, crumble just before serving. Prepare the dressing in advance to save time.
