Description

A homemade version of Parmesan chicken that captures the crispy, cheesy goodness of the restaurant favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken breasts in olive oil.
  4. Dip the oiled chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it coats evenly.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

For a bolder taste, consider toasting the breadcrumbs slightly before coating. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) for perfect doneness.
