- 1 pound (454 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast (450 grams)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) maple syrup (60 milliliters)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice (30 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce (15 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions
- Cut the chicken breast into 1-inch cubes.
- In a bowl, combine the maple syrup, lemon juice, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and stir to coat evenly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to marinate.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers.
- Place the skewers on the preheated grill.
- Grill the skewers for 5-7 minutes on each side, until the chicken is cooked through.
