Discover how to make delicious Maple Sriracha Chicken Wings with this easy recipe. Learn the perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors in every bite!

Ingredients

  • 454 g cut chicken wings
  • 30 ml neutral cooking oil
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) paprika
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) sugar
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) garlic powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) black pepper
  • 45 ml maple syrup
  • 45 ml hot sauce (more or less depending on heat tolerance)
  • 1 scallion, minced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 425ºF and cover a baking tray with foil.
  2. Dry the chicken wings thoroughly and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle the oil over the wings and mix well. Add the paprika, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper, ensuring the wings are evenly coated with the spices.
  3. Add the maple syrup and hot sauce to the bowl and stir until the wings are thoroughly covered.
  4. Spread the wings out on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until they are fully cooked. For extra crispiness, you can broil them for 1-2 minutes at the end.
  5. Place the wings on a serving dish and sprinkle with minced scallion if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by increasing maple syrup.
  • Customize spiciness level with hot sauce.
  • Ensure crispy wings by drying thoroughly before seasoning and broiling at the end.
