Ingredients
- 454 g cut chicken wings
- 30 ml neutral cooking oil
- 1 tsp (5 ml) paprika
- 1 tsp (5 ml) sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
- 1 tsp (5 ml) garlic powder
- 1 tsp (5 ml) black pepper
- 45 ml maple syrup
- 45 ml hot sauce (more or less depending on heat tolerance)
- 1 scallion, minced (optional)
Instructions
- Set your oven to 425ºF and cover a baking tray with foil.
- Dry the chicken wings thoroughly and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle the oil over the wings and mix well. Add the paprika, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper, ensuring the wings are evenly coated with the spices.
- Add the maple syrup and hot sauce to the bowl and stir until the wings are thoroughly covered.
- Spread the wings out on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until they are fully cooked. For extra crispiness, you can broil them for 1-2 minutes at the end.
- Place the wings on a serving dish and sprinkle with minced scallion if desired. Serve and enjoy!
