Transform ordinary chicken breast into a flavorful dish with a sweet and savory marinade of olive oil, soy sauce, honey, and garlic.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill, oven, or pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Cook the chicken on the grill or in the pan for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink inside.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing, and serve hot.
