A creamy and flavorful chicken dish with cherry tomatoes and Parmesan that transforms dinner into a special occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the cherry tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can add more heavy cream or use fresh herbs. Additionally, serve with a fresh green salad or pasta.
