Description

These cheesy chicken crescent rolls are a perfect comfort food for a weeknight dinner, combining shredded chicken, creamy cheese, and buttery crescent rolls.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter, melted for brushing
  • Optional: chopped herbs for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up towards the point.
  5. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
