These cheesy chicken crescent rolls are a perfect comfort food for a weeknight dinner, combining shredded chicken, creamy cheese, and buttery crescent rolls.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter, melted for brushing
- Optional: chopped herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up towards the point.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with melted butter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with herbs if desired and enjoy.
