A simple and delicious melt-in-your-mouth chicken breast recipe with a creamy topping that ensures juicy, flavorful results.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley or chives
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9 × 13-inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise or yogurt, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden and bubbly.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving, optionally garnishing with fresh herbs.
Notes
Consider using Greek yogurt for an extra protein boost. Make sure the chicken breasts are of similar thickness for even cooking.
