Description

A creamy and cheesy chicken casserole that brings warmth and comfort to family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup crushed butter crackers
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread this chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix the crushed crackers with melted butter until well combined and then sprinkle this mixture over the chicken layer.
  5. Top the casserole with the shredded cheddar cheese for that melty finish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and the top appears golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving to enhance the flavors and textures.
