Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup crushed butter crackers
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread this chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the crushed crackers with melted butter until well combined and then sprinkle this mixture over the chicken layer.
- Top the casserole with the shredded cheddar cheese for that melty finish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and the top appears golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving to enhance the flavors and textures.
