Ingredients
- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Mix in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Stir well.
- Grease your baking dish and layer half of the spaghetti mixture, followed by half of the meat sauce. Repeat with remaining spaghetti and meat sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
