Description

A sweet and savory miso-maple glaze transforms salmon fillets into a delightful dish perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons miso paste
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving
  • Sautéed vegetables (such as broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots) for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the miso paste, maple syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the miso-maple mixture over the salmon fillets.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve the salmon over cooked rice with sautéed vegetables on the side.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the salmon marinate in the miso-maple glaze for about 30 minutes before baking.
