Ingredients
- 2 Chicken breasts
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
- 4 strips Bacon (cooked and chopped)
- ½ cup Barbecue sauce
- 2 Green onions (chopped for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the seasoned chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and top each breast with barbecue sauce, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and chopped bacon slices.
- Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
