Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter, then sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Gradually add chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan, mixing well.
- Add shredded mozzarella and stir until melted and creamy.
- Return chicken to the skillet, simmering gently until chicken is cooked through, about 5-10 minutes.
- Stir in fresh basil just before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Serve with pasta or mashed potatoes to soak up the sauce.
