Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 6 oz Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 hamburger buns, torn into pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the diced onion until translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms release moisture and brown slightly.
- Incorporate ground beef, breaking it apart as it browns. Season with salt and pepper.
- Once meat is browned, stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Mix sour cream into the meat mixture to create a creamy consistency.
- Fold in torn hamburger buns.
- Transfer everything to a casserole dish and top with shredded Swiss cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
