Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour the chicken broth into the skillet and bring it to a simmer.
- Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, typically around 7-9 minutes, until they are tender.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
