Description

A simple and satisfying one-pan dish featuring juicy chicken breasts and egg noodles in a rich butter and garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken turns brown and fully cooks, about 6-7 minutes on each side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter along with the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, allowing the garlic to become fragrant without burning.
  3. Pour in the egg noodles and enough water (or chicken broth) to cover them. Follow the package instructions, cooking until the noodles become tender.
  4. Drain the noodles, then return them to the skillet. Slice the cooked chicken and mix it with the noodles, incorporating all the flavors from the pan.
  5. Serve hot on plates, garnished with parsley if desired. Enjoy your homemade one-pan chicken with buttered noodles!

Notes

For a creamier texture, consider adding a splash of chicken broth or a dollop of cream before serving.
