Description

A delightful one-pan chicken dish with creamy buttered noodles, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp real butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of real butter over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 5 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Stir in the egg noodles, cover the skillet, and simmer for about 8-10 minutes until the noodles are al dente.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat, stir in the remaining butter, and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking for better moisture retention. You can add veggies like spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra nutrients.
