Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp real butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of real butter over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 5 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Stir in the egg noodles, cover the skillet, and simmer for about 8-10 minutes until the noodles are al dente.
- Remove the skillet from heat, stir in the remaining butter, and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking for better moisture retention. You can add veggies like spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra nutrients.
