Description

Learn how to make juicy and flavorful One Pan Lemon Garlic Chicken Breasts in just one pan! This easy recipe is perfect for a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (30 ml)
  • 680 g skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 5 tsp (8 ml) salt
  • 5 tsp (8 ml) ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) garlic powder, divided
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Instructions

  1. Collect all the necessary items.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high flame. Add salt and pepper to the chicken and place it in the hot oil. Turn the chicken frequently while cooking until it turns golden, around 5 minutes.
  3. Dust 1 tablespoon of garlic powder onto the chicken; let it cook for 2 minutes. Turn the chicken over and sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of garlic powder on the other side; cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Drizzle lemon juice on both sides of the chicken and continue cooking until there is no pink remaining inside, about 5 to 10 more minutes. Check that the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) with a thermometer.
  5. Savor your meal!

Notes

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper evenly before cooking for enhanced flavor.
  • Adjust cooking time based on chicken breast thickness to prevent overcooking.
  • Freshly squeeze lemon juice for a zesty citrus taste, rather than using bottled juice.
