Description

A quick and satisfying one-pan meal combining tender chicken, colorful vegetables, and a sweet-savory teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and honey, stirring to combine.
  5. If using cornstarch, mix it with a little water and add to the pan to thicken the sauce.
  6. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  7. Serve the stir fry over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

To enhance flavor, use high-quality soy sauce and adjust sweetness to your taste. Stir-frying in batches helps maintain high heat.
