Description

A comforting, creamy pasta dish made with ground chicken, cheese, and pasta, all cooked in one skillet for easy preparation.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 8 oz pasta (such as penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened.
  2. Incorporate the ground chicken into the skillet, cooking until browned and no longer pink.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, raising the heat to bring it to a boil.
  4. Stir in the pasta thoroughly, reducing the heat afterward. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, mix in the heavy cream and shredded cheese. Stir until the cheese melts and creates a creamy consistency.
  6. Season the dish with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences. If desired, sprinkle chopped parsley on top to enhance presentation. Serve warm.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, simmer uncovered for a few more minutes or add a splash of chicken broth if too thick.
