A simple and delicious oven-baked chicken recipe that transforms basic ingredients into a flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or lightly coat it with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, and lemon juice; rub this mixture over each chicken breast.
- Drizzle olive oil on top of the seasoned chicken breasts.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and juices run clear.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Let the chicken sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before cooking for better texture. Feel free to experiment with the seasoning mix.
