Description

A simple and delicious oven-baked chicken recipe that transforms basic ingredients into a flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or lightly coat it with olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, and lemon juice; rub this mixture over each chicken breast.
  3. Drizzle olive oil on top of the seasoned chicken breasts.
  4. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and juices run clear.
  5. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Let the chicken sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before cooking for better texture. Feel free to experiment with the seasoning mix.
