A simple and delicious recipe for oven-baked chicken tenderloins that are juicy and flavorful, perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken tenders
- 1/4-1/2 cup melted butter or olive oil (or a mix)
- 3-4 + Tbsp chicken rub (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 Tbsp sweet paprika
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp sweetener (brown sugar or sugar-free golden monk fruit)
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- Your favorite dipping sauces (BBQ, ranch, ketchup, honey mustard, etc.)
Instructions
- Combine sweet paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
- Cut the butter into cubes and melt in the microwave or use olive oil.
- Dredge the chicken tenders in the melted butter, or apply it with a brush.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mix over both sides of the chicken.
- Bake the chicken for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 160-162°F.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with dipping sauces.
