Description

A simple and delicious recipe for oven-baked chicken tenderloins that are juicy and flavorful, perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken tenders
  • 1/4-1/2 cup melted butter or olive oil (or a mix)
  • 3-4 + Tbsp chicken rub (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 Tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp sweetener (brown sugar or sugar-free golden monk fruit)
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Your favorite dipping sauces (BBQ, ranch, ketchup, honey mustard, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Combine sweet paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Cut the butter into cubes and melt in the microwave or use olive oil.
  3. Dredge the chicken tenders in the melted butter, or apply it with a brush.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over both sides of the chicken.
  5. Bake the chicken for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 160-162°F.
  6. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with dipping sauces.

Notes

For a twist, try marinating the chicken before baking or experimenting with different herbs and spices.
