Delicious pan-fried chicken dumplings filled with a savory mix of chicken, cabbage, and spices, perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ground chicken
- 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 package dumpling wrappers
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix ground chicken, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
- Place about a tablespoon of the filling in the center of a dumpling wrapper, fold in half and seal the edges.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add vegetable oil.
- Arrange dumplings in the pan and fry until the bottoms are golden brown, about 3–4 minutes.
- Add a splash of water, cover, and steam dumplings for 5–7 minutes.
- Remove the lid and fry for another minute to re-crisp the bottoms.
- Serve hot with soy sauce or dipping sauce of choice.
