Description

Delicious pan-fried chicken dumplings filled with a savory mix of chicken, cabbage, and spices, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ground chicken
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix ground chicken, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Place about a tablespoon of the filling in the center of a dumpling wrapper, fold in half and seal the edges.
  3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add vegetable oil.
  4. Arrange dumplings in the pan and fry until the bottoms are golden brown, about 3–4 minutes.
  5. Add a splash of water, cover, and steam dumplings for 5–7 minutes.
  6. Remove the lid and fry for another minute to re-crisp the bottoms.
  7. Serve hot with soy sauce or dipping sauce of choice.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor and avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even cooking.
