Ingredients
- 2 lbs (907 g) chicken breast
- 4 oz (113 g) unsalted butter
- 1 lb (454 g) mushrooms
- 2 cups (480 ml) spinach
- 2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) garlic parsley salt (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Gather all the necessary components for the dish.
- Heat a frying pan and melt the butter. Cook the chicken breast on both sides over medium-high heat until they are browned and fully cooked through. Take them out of the pan and put them aside.
- Using the same pan (keep the flavorful bits left from the chicken!), add the chopped mushrooms and cook them until they are golden. Add the spinach and cook until it softens.
- Pour in the heavy cream, sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, and add the garlic parsley salt. Mix everything together.
- Place the cooked chicken back into the pan. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle boil, then take it off the heat. Serve right away and savor the dish!
Notes
- Consider using Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
- Enhance the flavor by adding fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper before cooking for better taste.
