Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) grated vegetarian-friendly cheese
- 4 (140 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 4 tsp (20 ml) Italian-seasoned dry bread crumbs
Instructions
- Collect all necessary items.
- Set the oven to 425°F (220°C) and cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Combine the mayonnaise and vegetarian-friendly cheese in a bowl, stirring until fully blended.
- Place the chicken pieces on the lined baking tray. Coat the top of the chicken with the mayonnaise mixture, then sprinkle with the bread crumbs.
- Bake in the oven until the chicken is cooked through and the juices are clear, approximately 20 minutes. A thermometer placed into the thickest part of the chicken should show at least 165°F (74°C).
Notes
- Consider enhancing the flavor by adding garlic powder or dried herbs to the mayonnaise and cheese mixture before coating the chicken.
