A delightful pasta dish that transforms ordinary evenings into something special with its creamy parmesan sauce and tender chicken.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss to combine.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Let the chicken rest after cooking for juicier slices. Adjust cream sauce with reserved pasta water if necessary.
