Description
Deliciously sweet and savory pineapple-teriyaki wings that are perfect for gatherings and family dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade and let them soak for at least 1 hour (or overnight for better flavor).
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the chicken wings on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- For a thicker glaze, boil the remaining marinade with cornstarch until it thickens, then toss the baked wings in the glaze.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, use a wire rack on the baking sheet and consider marinating the wings overnight for enhanced flavor.
