Description

Juicy chicken wings marinated in a sweet and savory pineapple-teriyaki sauce, perfect for gatherings and barbecues.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, blend pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
  2. Add chicken wings to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
  4. Place a rack on top of the lined baking sheet and arrange the wings evenly, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake wings for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway to ensure even cooking.
  6. Once cooked, toss wings in leftover marinade and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

For extra crispy wings, consider broiling for the last few minutes of cooking. Let wings rest after baking to seal in juices.
